Four cub-scouts from 2nd Armidale Pack went to Lynchwood Scout Camp near Tamworth on 24 and 24 May 2014 to take part in the NW Region Cuboomerang Camp. It was a great weekend, where cubs had the chance to meet up with friends from other packs in the region and our newly arrived cub from Scotland was introduced to cub scouting NW Region style. Participation in this weekend allowed the four cubs from Armidale to complete most of the requirements for their current Boomerang Award (Bronze, Silver or Gold). Two of the Armidale cubs are pictured here during the ‘scouts own’ period on Sunday morning. The Gold Boomerang participants had put the programme for the scouts own together with the help of a leader.
